You can help shut down the illegal dog meat trade in the Philippines. Donate now to stop thousands of dogs from being tortured and butchered for their meat.

 


Since 1998, there has been a ban on the torture and killing of dogs in the Philippines. Being illegal, many locals would assume that the horrific practice of eating dogs no longer exists. But that’s far from the truth.

 

As many as 500 dogs are killed for their meat every day.

 

Like you, most local people would feel disgusted and ashamed if they knew this was still happening. And just like you, they would want to take action and help shut down this cruel underground industry.

 

Will you please help buy a billboard to tell them about it, and recruit them in the global campaign to shut down this horrific trade?

 

Your support could help buy a billboard that could be displayed on the side of tuk tuks or buses, or in prominent areas on the side of the highway.

 

Your billboard will raise awareness and generate tip-offs that will lead to rescues, arrests and prosecutions, and will even deter others from taking part in this cruel and inhumane industry.

 

An identical approach was used in Thailand, and it worked. Thousands of tip offs led to far greater enforcement of the law and ultimately brought an end to the dog meat trade.
