All you need to know about what has been achieved in the last twelve months - updated 31.3.23
Since the very beginning of this terrible conflict, your donations have truly been life-changing for the animals and refugees of Ukraine.
Since February 2022, thousands of animals received essential medication and food supplies thanks to the joined efforts of Soi Dog, TOZ – Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and Save the Dogs Romania.
Thanks to your donations, Soi Dog was able to continue to support Save the Dogs Romania by funding the ongoing delivery of food supplies to different provinces in Ukraine throughout the winter period, delivering over 240 tonnes of dog and cat food in the past 6 months alone to volunteers who continue to work in the worst affected areas.
Your support has also seen 330 dog houses sent to areas where there is little shelter available to help the dogs survive the severe winter weather.
Thanks to your support, our trusted partner organisation TOZ, was also able to complete their Emergency Clinic on the border with Poland and officially opened their doors in February 2023. Through their emergency clinic, their relief missions into Ukraine, and their mobile sterilisation and vaccination unit, TOZ have been able to help over 15,000 animals in need so far.
Not only did these desperate animals receive urgent medical attention to heal their physical wounds, TOZ was also able to employ a full-time behaviourist at their Celestynow shelter to help them overcome the immense psychological trauma caused by the conflict.
Today we are happy to share that three of these dogs have been adopted by loving families in Poland. It's heart-warming to know they are now safe, and will never have to worry again about finding food or a place to sleep.
Thanks to supporters like you, so many lives were touched and changed. Now, you can help us do the same for the stray dogs and cats of Asia, who desperately need your help.
Please, make an extra special donation today to help support our efforts to alleviate the suffering of stray animals across Asia and to end the barbaric dog and cat meat trade.
