Denchan and Herta were in a state of utter despair when they were found. Discarded like rubbish in an abandoned house among filth and excrement, they were left to die slow, agonising death.
Denchan had been left to fend for herself, and we believe she was desperately searching for food when she was hit by a speeding vehicle. Herta instead, was restrained with multiple nylon ropes around her neck.
Both these innocent dogs were the victims of terrible cruelty and neglect. They were rushed to our hospital and given life-saving medical care, but it will take months for their wounds to heal.
While Denchan and Herta are now safe and cared for, there are still countless animals on the streets of Thailand who, just like them, are in desperate need of help.
